FAQs
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
We ask for £49 deposit because we book the entire studio out for the day so want to ensure your commited to the photo shoot.
The deposit will be refunded when you attend your photo shoot and viewing session or can be used towards any portrait purchases.
Will I have a female photographer?
Yes, we are an all female team at Honey & Lace Studios.
What should I wear for my photo shoot?
We recommend bringing a variety of colours and styles. Avoid items with heavy patterns or large logos. Don't forget to bring your favourite accessories such as jewellery, hats etc.
Feel free to contact us for a style consultation before your photo shoot.
I'm nervous can I bring a friend?
You are welcome to bring a female friend to accompany you to the photo shoot. However they won't be permited to take photos during your session. Please let us know before your photo shoot if you wish to bring someone.
Do I have to purchase portraits?
There is no obligation to purchase anything, having said that all our customers do fall in love with their portraits. If you do decide to treat yourself, we have a range of wall art and albums available. You can also choose Payitmonthly if you would like to spread the cost. You can find details of what we have to offer on our products guide.
Please note sessions DO NOT include digitals, if you would like digitals these are available to purchase at the reveal session.
Can I change my appointment after its been booked?
If you need to change you appointment please give us 5 working days notice, this gives us the opportunity to offer the appointment to someone else. Changes after this time will require a new deposit.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes you must be over 18yrs to apply. A parent or guardian may apply on behalf of younger applicants, the parent/gaurdian will need to be present throughout the photo shoot and viewing.
Can I use my images for my model portfolio?
Yes, we have many models, actresses and influencers book a session to update their portfolio or even start a new career.
