The Experience
Every week we empower women through photography to love the skin they’re in. Photo shoots take place in our studio in Retford. We have mutliple sets to choose from including our dreamy bed, flower wall and rose petal bath.
During your boudoir session you will have private use of the studio so you can relax and feel completely comfortable during your session.
Our all female team specialise in creating subtle and artistic portraits. All of our photographers are posing trained to flatter your body. ANY age, ANY size, ANY shape.
After the session we choose your very best images and work our magic with Honey & Lace style retouching before inviting you back to the studio to view your gorgeous portraits.

FAQs
Will I have a female photographer?
Yes, we are an all female team at Honey & Lace Studios.
What should I wear for my photo shoot?
We recommend bringing a variety of colours and styles. Lingerie sets, camisoles, lacey bodies, satin robes and men's white shirts all work well. Don't forget to bring your favourite accessories such as stockings, jewellery and a pair of heels!
Feel free to contact us for a style consultation before your photo shoot.
I'm nervous can I bring a friend?
You are welcome to bring a female friend to accompany you to the photo shoot. However they won't be permited to take photos during your session. Please let us know before your photo shoot if you wish to bring someone.
Can I purchase wall art?
Yes we have a range of wall art and prints available to purchase if you would like to treat yourself to extra images. You can find details of what we have to offer on our products guide.
I'm curvy, is aboudoir photo shoot for me?
Yes!!! Our clients are all shapes and sizes. Whether you are curvy, lean, tall or petite we will show you how to pose to flatter your body and feel amazing.
Do I have to wear underwear?
Not at all. We believe boudoir photography is whatever makes you feel confident and empowered. This might be lingerie, a slinky dress, or jeans and t-shirt. Everyone is different and we want you to embrace your individuality.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes we only offer boudoir style images to clients over 18yrs. We offer makeover/fashion style sessions for younger clients. Click here to find out about our mini model sessions.
Can I use my images for my model portfolio?
Yes, we have many models, actresses and influencers book a session to update their portfolio or even start a new career.
